Hudson was founded back in 1799 by David Hudson who was settled there from Ghosen, Connecticut. Hudson has the exact same "vibes" that a small town in Connecticut would have. Don't believe me?! take a look.

Hudson's School System

This is one of the reasons why living in Hudson is so desirable because the school district does NOT offer open enrollment. Hudson City Schools provides education for 4,600 children and ranks in the top 2% of Ohio districts!!! Hudson High School is a 2008 National Blue Ribbon Award Winner with their AP programs ranking among the top schools in the AP annual rankings. An astonishing 96% of the students attend four-year colleges. In addition to education, the school district is highly competitive in athletics and have award-winning art and music programs. It's safe to say Hudson has amazing schools!!!! The major con is student diversity.
